I recently graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Tufts University with a B.S. in mathematics and a minor in cognitive science, where I was fortunate to be advised by Dr. Samantha Petti. I was jointly mentored by Dr. Petti and Dr. Michael Levin throughout a senior honors thesis on goal-directedness in emergent patterns. I spent a year at Pembroke College, Oxford, reading mathematics and philosophy.
I want to understand how regenerative and self-organizing systems work, so that I can design, build, and guide them. I tend to think about these problems in terms of graphs, information, and attractors.
